What you're paying for,
in plain terms.
These terms apply when you use venuedepth.com, whether or not you pay. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

What Venuedepth is
Venuedepth is a research tool. It collects information that is already public — company filings made to the SEC, published analyst estimates, exchange prices and official newsroom releases — and makes it searchable, comparable and easier to read.
What Venuedepth is not
It is not a broker, a dealer or an investment adviser. It does not execute trades, hold or transfer your money or securities, connect to your brokerage or bank, or give personalised investment advice. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
The Venuedepth score is a transparent measure computed from price trend and realised volatility. It is not a rating, a forecast, or an opinion about whether an investment is a good idea. Where a company does not report a figure, the site says so rather than estimating it.
Decisions you make with this information are yours. Investing carries the risk of losing money, including all of it.
The AI summaries
Some pages include a short summary written by an AI model. It is given only the figures already shown on that page and is instructed to describe them without predicting prices or recommending anything. It can still be wrong or clumsy, and it is not a source of facts — the figures above it are. Treat the summary as a reading aid, and the underlying numbers as the record.
Free and paid access
Part of the site is free and stays free. Paid plans unlock additional material; what each plan includes is listed on the pricing page, which forms part of these terms. We may add to, change or withdraw features over time; if a change materially reduces what your plan includes, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
How your access works
There are no usernames or passwords. After payment your browser receives a signed cookie that identifies you as a subscriber. This has a consequence you should know before buying: your access lives in that browser. Clearing your cookies, switching browsers or using another device will leave you seeing the free tier until you return through the link in your receipt.
If you lose access, email hello@venuedepth.com from the address you subscribed with and we will restore it.
Payment and renewal
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars and the Depth plan is $9.90 per month at the current launch rate. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled, using the payment method you gave at checkout.
We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price for at least 30 days after we notify you by email, and you can cancel before the new price takes effect. Taxes are added where required by law.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not otherwise refund part-months.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of your first payment. To keep that simple: ask within 14 days of subscribing for the first time and we will refund that payment in full, whether or not you used the service.
If a payment fails, access may pause until it succeeds. If we cancel your subscription for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the period.
What you may and may not do
Your subscription is for you. You may read, search and use the data for your own research, including in your work.
You may not:
- share your access with others, or resell or redistribute the data as a product of your own;
- scrape or bulk-download the site, or use automated tools that place unreasonable load on it;
- attempt to bypass payment, or interfere with the security or operation of the service.
The underlying filings are public records and we claim no ownership of them. What we do own is the compilation, the scoring, the interface and the text.
Accuracy and availability
We take care to source everything from primary records, but we do not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete or current. Prices may be delayed. Third-party sources change, break and revise their own figures, and filings are published with statutory delays — 13F holdings, for example, are reported up to 45 days after the quarter they describe.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Venuedepth. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights as a consumer under Norwegian law.
Ending your access
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached — for instance by sharing a subscription or scraping the site — and where the breach is minor we will contact you first.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Material changes are emailed to current subscribers at least 30 days in advance, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and disputes belong to the Norwegian courts. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory law where you live.
